Welcome to the blog for Rocking-G-Photography!  Both of us have a passion for photography and we hope to share it with you.
Our work varies from trips to Mexico and the Caribbean, to trips into our own back yard.
A lot of our work though comes from our love of the American West.  John got his BA and MA from the University of Wyoming.  Even though he was born and raised in New York, he thinks of Wyoming as his real home.
Maria is a late comer to the west.  But after her first trip to Wyoming, she was hooked.  Probably her favorite spot in the Cowboy State is Jackson Hole.  Who can blame her.
As we go along, keep an eye out for rodeo, western landscape and wildlife pictures, along with pictures from other places we have visited.
And we post some of John's photojournalism from over the years.
